ACCT 315 HOMEPAGE

Intermediate Accounting for Non-Accounting Majors

The purpose of this course is to develop the analysis of financial accounting, with an emphasis on the financial statements, plus the institutions and concepts that are important to understanding the meaning of financial information.

Emphasis in class will be on evaluating real world problems as found in Intermediate Accounting:  Principles and Analysis, 2nd Edition, Warfield, Weygandt & Kieso (2008).

The internet is a primary source of financial information and will be used frequently (see Internet Resources).
